Follow up instructions
STEP #1: View Lead & Confirm the Lead Assignment
» Click the orange “View / Update Lead” button at the top of the SALES LEAD ALERT email you received.

» You will be taken to a LeadCentral LEAD DETAIL page that is your gateway to learning everything we know about this prospect and how the lead was generated.

» Click the blue “View Profile” button on the LEAD DETAIL to see the prospect’s name, company and contact information to confirm that this lead was correctly assigned to you, or if you could pass it along to one of your Panel Shop partners.

 
» If this IS correctly assigned to you, proceed to Step #2.

» If not, click the blue “Reassign Lead” button and select the proper individual or office from the pull down list provided. An email will automatically be sent notifying him/her about the lead. Further follow up becomes their responsibility.

STEP #2: Contact the Prospect
» Click the orange “View Lead Source” button in the LEAD DETAIL page to learn more about the marketing initiative that prompted this prospect to take an action that generated this lead for you. Knowing this will help you better focus your follow up.

» This lead should have an email and sometimes a phone number for this prospect, so use whichever method works best for you. Remember: if this lead is graded “hot” the prospect has requested your follow up, so please contact them as soon as possible.
STEP #3: Follow Up - IMPORTANT!
» To close the loop, go back to the LEAD DETAILS page after you have contacted this prospect and update the “Follow Up” section. It will take less than a minute to select the appropriate actions from the pull down lists -- and you can add your sales notes for future reference.

Make sure you change the status to “Closed” when you are done with the follow up.

» Your lead follow up keeps sales management up to speed on early sales pipeline activity and helps our marketing team continually improve lead generation initiatives.
Reporting
Until you have either reassigned or closed this lead, it will appear on your weekly LeadCentral sales report.

ABB EP sales management receives a report of all assigned open leads each week. Once a month, sales management will receive a report on lead follow up performance.
